Institutional Capacity

Institutional Capacity:

Pikin-To-Pikin Movement has a strong capacity for strategy definition in collaboration with the technical know-how and staff capacity to deliver appropriate result in the implementation of projects. The organisation also has a strong human and material capacity to execute Training, effective Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning.

Staffing:  Pikin-to-Pikin Movement presently has 50 permanent staff and 4 volunteers. Nine of these staff are trained and qualified Social Workers who have expertise in community mobilization and animation. In addition to this, each one of the other staff are well trained and qualified in the technical area they are employed. Such technical areas include, project monitoring and supervision, financial management and budgetary control, administration, Community Development etc. The organisation has a well defined organogram and a work place policy.

Office space:

 Our head quarter is located in the West-end of Freetown at No. 13 Macdonald Street. We have an office space at kamara street Moyamba , and N0. 4- Cemetery lane Bonthe in the Southern province. Our Northern region office is located at No. 24 Miserie Street in Makeni,  with sub offices at 12 Hospital road magboraka, and 7 sheriffa street Port Loko. Our eastern region office is located at Maagorma section Kailahun.

Logistics-mobility:  The organization presently has 4 vehicles, 45 motorbikes and 1-truck.

Office equipment: Our offices are fully equipped with furniture and other office equipment that facilitate the smooth functioning of an organization.

Legal status: The organisation is legally registered with the Government of Sierra Leone through the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development since 1998 and has renewed its status as an Indigenous NGO to date. The organisation is also registered with the Local Councils in all its operational districts.
